<내행성과 외행성>

 

태양계는 그 안에 여덟 개의 행성이 있다.

 

이 행성들은 두 그룹으로 나누어진다.

 

우리는 그들을 '내행성'과 '외행성'이라고 부른다.

 

이 두 그룹은 그들만의 특징을 가지고 있다.

 

내행성은 수성, 금성, 지구, 화성이다.

 

그들은 모두 태양과 가깝다.

 

또한 이 행성들은 모두 작고 딱딱한 바위 같은 물질들로 이루어져 있다.

 

지구가 내행성들 중에서 가장 크다.

 

그리고 내행성은 모두 위성이 없거나 한두 개의 위성을 가지고 있다.

 

외행성은 내행성과 아주 다르다.

 

외행성은 내행성보다 훨씬 더 춥다.

 

그들은 태양에서 더 멀리 있다.

 

외행성은 목성, 토성, 천왕성, 해왕성이다.

 

그들은 모두 아주 크다. 

 

목성은 태양계에서 가장 큰 행성이다.

 

외행성은 대개 가스로 이루어져 있다.

 

또한 외행성은 많은 위성을 가지고 있다.

 

목성은 최소한 63개의 위성이 있다.

 

다른 행성들도 많은 위성을 가지고 있다.

<The Inner and Outer Planets>

 

The solar system has eight planets in it.

 

These planets are divided into two groups.

 

We call them 'the inner planets' and 'the outer planets'.

 

These two groups have their own characteristics.

 

The inner planets are Mercury, Venus, Earth, and Mars.

 

They are all close to the sun.

 

Also, these planets are all small and made up or solid, rocklike materials.

 

The Earth is the largest of the inner planets.

 

And the inner planets all have zero, one, or two moons.

 

The outer planets are very different from the inner planets.

 

The outer planets are much colder than the inner planets.

 

They are farther from the sun.

 

The outer planets are Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune.

 

They are all very large.

 

Jupiter is the largest planet in the solar system.

 

The outer planets are mostly made up of gas.

 

Also, the outer planets have many moons.

 

Jupiter has at least 63 moons.
